Shoro Adventure

I know it's been a while, but here's the first installment on Bishkek street food, or in this case street drinks. These are pictures of Shoro. A drink that's made of fermented barley and wheat. Supposedly it has a lot of healing properties. A lot of people say that it's a hangover cure! It sort of tastes salty and tangy. You can find it on every street corner in Bishkek and it's really delicious. However, people with less adventurous palettes seem to be less fond of this drink than the locals.
